About Sophie Hung, MPH, RDN, CPT
Dietitian and Personal Trainer
Sophie is a registered dietitian nutritionist that has been coaching clients for over 12 years. She is also a certified personal trainer for 6 years. She grew up in Hong Kong and has studied abroad in Spain, Mexico, Peru, and Argentina. Besides English, Sophie also speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish. Sophie understands the Asian and Latin cultural food well, and she specializes in creating a customized cultural sensitive program that works for her clients. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer, she has helped hundreds of clients to lose weight, build muscle, control blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides, and plan balanced vegetarian meals. Sophie doesn’t believe in quick fixes. Instead, she helps clients develop healthy mindsets and promote behavior changes that are long-term and sustainable. Combining nutrition and exercise, Sophie is able to help her clients achieve a healthy lifestyle change and maintain it for the long run.
With Sophie, empowerment and accountability are key. She believes that because you are unique, your program should be too. There are no restrictive meal plans or food guilt. Sophie believes that there is no “never” food, instead, clients will learn the difference between “sometimes” food vs “everyday” food so that they can enjoy their favorite food guilt-free but in moderation.
