A Healthier You Journey

Holistic Nutrition Program

Before you start A Healthier You Journey Program, we would be gathering some baseline data from you:

  • BEFORE photos
  • Scale measurements (weight, % body fat, % muscle, % water)
  • Tape measurements (waist, hip, mid-arm, and thigh)
  • Wellness questionnaire
  • 3-day food diary
  • Bloodwork

During the initial assessment, we would get to know you a little bit more and develop a personalized meal plan together based on your food preferences and intolerances. The meal plan is structured yet flexible. The program empowers you by giving you access to videos of a wide variety of nutrition topics, such as learning what a balanced meal looks like, how to read food labels in order to make better choices at the grocery stores, healthy snack ideas to maintain energy level throughout the day, eating out tips, ratio of different macronutrients, how to reduce inflammation, seasoning tips, and better manage their stress.

Before each session, you will be asked to watch one of the nutrition videos. During the session, your Coach will answer any questions you have, follow up both your nutrition and fitness goals from the previous week, and come up with future goals for the following week. The program has proven to help many clients for weight loss/gain, diabetes, dyslipidemia (high cholesterol/triglycerides), hypertension, food allergy, hypothyroidism, vegetarian nutrition, and gestational diabetes for prenatal moms.

Besides looking at your data such as the weight, % body fat, % muscle, and % water, the tape measurement data, and the progress photos, we would also look at non-numerical wins such as your water intake, sleep amount/quality, energy level, and stress level.

Gaining some nutrition knowledge is just the first step, learning how to incorporate the new knowledge into your lives and practicing it consistently is the challenging part. That’s why our program focus a lot on behavior change and mindset change tips, which makes us different from most nutrition program out there.

A Healthier You Journey Roadmap

Holistic Nutrition Program in 4 Phases

Clients who get the most results and see the biggest transformation usually work with Sophie for at least 6 months.

In Phase I, Sophie helps clients to increase awareness of their current habits, eating patterns, and lifestyle.

In Phase II, with the weekly nutrition videos and 1-on-1 sessions with Sophie, the clients feel empowered with nutrition knowledge and receive accountability and guidance when clients experience challenges and barriers (Sophie provides lots of hand-holding).

In Phase III, clients have achieved amazing results and reached their nutrition/fitness goals. Clients will take on more control of their weekly goal setting and come up with troubleshooting plans. If the weight loss goal is reached, no more calories deficit is needed. Sophie helps clients adjust to their new calorie goal. (Less hand-holding from Sophie but she is still there to provide support and cheer her clients on)

In Phase IV, clients are able to maintain their goal long-term. The new lifestyle becomes the new NORMAL. Clients graduate from the program.
